"H2S and paraffin: Challenges of Producing
Eagle Ford and other wells in South Texas
"

David Thaler &  Trey Riggs, Baker Hughes

David Thaler

I graduated from the University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 2013 and am currently working as a Field Engineer for Baker Hughes Upstream Chemicals. My position combines the use of analytical techniques in the lab with system analysis and problem identification in the field. I have been working for Baker Hughes for 8 months. In the last half year I have been working with a world class technical team to provide paraffin consultation for various producers across the Eagle Ford.

Trey Riggs

I currently work for Baker Hughes – Upstream Chemicals as the Integrity Management Technical Advisor. Most of my experience is with production in the East Texas area. My primary focus in upstream chemicals is with corrosion management and hydrogen sulfide abatement. I have been with Baker Hughes for two years. I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering.
